Apartment and building rubbish pickups in Chatswood
In a tower, the hard part is not the sofa. It is the building. No room for a skip, a lift that has to be booked and padded, a dock with a time window, and a strata manager who has seen it done badly before. We do the building part properly, so the pickup itself is easy.
What "strata-savvy" actually means
- The lift booking. We contact your building manager before the day, book the service lift and confirm the protective padding, so nobody is arguing in a lobby at 8am.
- The dock window. Where the building has a loading dock, we work to its time slot and have the truck in and out inside it.
- The common areas. Floors protected where needed, nothing dragged, nothing propped in a fire door, and the lobby exactly as we found it.
- The neighbours. A quiet crew that keeps the job inside your unit and the service corridor, not spread across level three.
One item or a whole unit, the same care applies. We regularly carry a single washing machine down from a tower because the building would not allow it any other way.
The jobs we see most in Chatswood's buildings
| The situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| End of lease, unit must be empty by handover | Full unit clear-out around your key-return date, swept behind us |
| New furniture arriving, old lounge has to go | Single-item pickup, lift booked, gone before the delivery lands |
| Downsizer arriving from a house, boxes that will never unpack | A second sort at the apartment end, and the excess cleared |
| Building manager with dumped items in the dock or bin room | A scheduled pickup for the building itself, invoiced properly |
| Balcony reclaimed from years of storage | Pots, planters and the broken bikes, carried down and sorted into streams |
The price is fixed before we start, and it already includes the building logistics. A fifth-floor walk-up costs what we said it would.
Why not the council pickup?
Willoughby Council's free bulky-waste service is genuinely useful and we say so. But it is kerbside only: the council crew does not come up to level nine, and your building's rules decide what can sit where, and when. For anything that has to travel from inside a unit, through a lift, on a date you control, that is us. For what the council will and will not do, our council clean-up guide lays it out honestly.
Tell us what goes. We do the rest.
Send the form and we ring you back to arrange a look at the job. The price is fixed on sight, agreed before we lift a thing, and it covers the lifting, the loading, the sweep-up and the disposal.
- One fixed price, agreed before we start. No hourly rate, no tip fees added later.
- One visit for most jobs, booked at a time that suits your building or your street.
- Worthwhile things offered for donation first. Regulated streams go to licensed facilities.
